Identify subspecies by comparing male heads. Look for differences in eye color, eye ring, and head shape. Use the ID table for specific differences in subspecies. Note: Juvenile males have black coloring in their beaks, which gradually fades away as the birds mature. SI males have rounder heads than the othe subspecies. Vos feathers are a brighter lime green than the others.
